Choosing Life

I love LIFE.

After reaching the life/death marker ten years ago, I choose life.

It has been a wonderful journey since. My loving wife never flinched in support of my recovery from a dreaded disease called Esophageal Cancer. Together we fought the fight and together we won.

Today, we support people like me who choose life free from drugs. We believe many diseases can be treated Naturally. God gave us the ability to treat our body from illness caused by knowingly and unknowingly abusing our well-being.

Natural remedies are abundant and free. Sunshine, pure unadulterated water, fresh air coupled with regular exercise, good nutrition all done in moderation plus trusting God enhances one's health or cure ailments.

Guess who opened the door and greeted us?

Anna!

We were excited to see her with a glowing smile.

She said that the remaining necrotic tissue on her right breast fell off. She also mentioned that her pain was gone and she was able to sleep well the night before!

Milo, her husband asked me to check her wound. An area was still fresh where the necrotic tissue was originally attached. I suggested, "a skin graft will help." She shook her head and said, “Oh no!”

Anna was doing things the natural way and now this suggestion? I offered an option that a skin graft would help speed up recovery. But knowing Anna, she will overcome.

We admire her patience and persistence in practicing the unconventional way of fighting breast cancer. For six (6) months she refused having her breast removed surgically but opted for herbal cure. Twice daily, her husband applied herbs and recently charcoal poultices until the huge cancerous mass fell off.

Her daughter was sewing a wedding outfit for a wedding next week. Anna was not sure whether to attend the wedding or not. But I encouraged her, "Go, Anna!" I believe she would recover faster if she attends social functions and interacts with her friends.

After our visit, we bid her goodbye. She smiled and said, “Thank you for your help. I will help someone, too!”

On our way back to Marion, we stopped by to visit another family.

It was lunch time when we reached their home. Andy came out to greet us. I told Andy we were sorry to interrupt their lunch and I offered to wait until they were done. He agreed.

We were invited in their home but his wife was out of town. She was able to move around and her appetite was not impaired. Esther discussed with Andy the ways and means to increase her immune system the natural way.

On our way home we thanked God for opening another opportunity to share our thoughts about Natural Healing.

It is interesting to know about Andy and Anna (another patient named Anna). I was at the hospital when Dr. Mc called to let me know one of his patients wanted to meet me. I was busy in the OR so I agreed to talk to them by phone. Andy discussed about his wife's problem and mentioned that they have with them my book (click) "Choosing To Live."

Anna had a mucinous carcinoma of the colon originating from the appendix and a debulking surgical procedure was done about six weeks ago. The prognosis is bad.
