| | | He was diagnosed with terminal cancer 11 years ago, but today he is healthy and spreading his story.
Dr. Benjamin Sanidad spoke to the Zanesville Rotary Club today about his recovery from esophageal cancer, a disease that is usually fatal to a person within months.
“It’s never too late if we have life in ourselves, within us, we keep on plugging, keep on fighting, and we could do that also through natural means, through natural medicine,” said Sanidad.
After multiple surgeries Dr. Ben refused to undergo chemotherapy and instead opted to exercise, eat healthy and turn to God.
“The number one reason I feel that change of lifestyle and also above all it’s the one almighty up there in heaven,” said Sanidad.
Dr. Ben is now cancer free, working as an anesthesiologist at Marion General Hospital. He wrote a book about his order entitled “Choosing to Live.”
