A Center Of Learning called: "CHOOSING LIFE MID-OHIO HEALTH, EDUCATION, & WORSHIP SERVICES, Co.," was dedicated recently. Some invited guests attended the short program.
It opened with songs of praise then followed by a brief service. As King Solomon's magnificent prayer of dedication found in 1 Kings 8, everyone joined in the reading:
May this building, be a place for His name:
- Where prayer is prominent
- Where praise is precious
- Where his word is proclaimed.
- Where his way is practiced
- Where His worship is professed
- Where His witness is published
- A fortress for the family
- A haven for the hurting
- A harbor for the lost
- A school where we learn & are trained
- A greenhouse where the young are nortured
- A courthouse where truth is supreme
- A workshop where people are crafted into His likeness
- A tool shed where we can be useable for Him
- A temple where the presence of God is known
- A place for His name
- A place for His work, and
- A place for His glory!
Two (2) cooking demonstration and lecture classes were done since the dedication. Lecturers and demonstrators were Gayle Holback, Carol Buhler, Jeri Hart and Janet Patterson.
People who choose to learn God's way to treat ailments are welcomed. It involves the NEWSTART program, a holistic method with the use of good Nutrition, balanced Exercise, pure Water & Sunshine. Temperance, pure & fresh Air, Rest and Trust in the Lord.
A non-profit organization, the Center is a voluntary service to serve the community. Furnishings & equipments are donated from benevolent supporters.
The Center is located in a country setting outside the city limits of Marion, Ohio.
